and
appreciating them.”

“Express,
Be the one who is not afraid to speak up or stand out.
In a world when people are so busy copying one other,
find the thing that lightens your soul up.
And hold it out for the world to admire it.”

“Start,
Be the one who is not afraid to start over,
no matter how many times it takes.
Start a new race, a new company or even a new self.
Never be afraid to go back and start over.”

Be the one who clicks things,
not just with the phone but with the eyes.
Your eyes are the best cameras ever made, so use them.”

“Connect,
not just with others

Accept who you are and make peace with it.
It is the greatest gift to be ever received by man.”

" Accept, Be the kind who understands
and accepts things that don't conform to what is defined as normal.
The queer are only so because we make them to be,
embrace them as human beings and stand up for them."

"Let go, be the one
who doesn't let the past
smother the beauty of your present."

This project was mainly inspired by our late night photo-shoot sessions after a long day at college. I was very much enchanted by the beauty of the place named 'Kalyani' during night. The streets and the lights attracted me the most. So starting slow, I decided to make a series of artworks, in which each of them would confer an essence of the emotions we were experiencing in our day to day life and at the same time would deliver the aesthetics of the environment and ambiance.

Most of the photos are a long exposure shot or combination of multiple exposures, which were then processed in Adobe Lightroom and then reconstructed in Adobe Photoshop, and extra elements and lighting were added. Then again it was reprocessed and colored in Lightroom to get the final result.

Thanking You,
Shirsendu Adak
